"I ordered a lot of hardware from this store, which felt legitimate initially and it's no doubt that they have a lot of variety and brands among hardware, paints, etc. Basically they charged 100% amount at the time of placing order, didn't negotiate a single rupee, didn't give me product at the time and promised that product shall reach their store in 4-5 days, which then took 15 days and several times my chasing them for my order. They had reasons/excuses for delay, but no remorse or ownership for customer's loss and inconvenience. I had labour aligned and had to pay them for a week for no work due to no hardware being available in time. All they had to say was "Sorry". Either way I visited and collected my order today, and ordered more hardware which I got at same time as it was available at their store. There was a ₹80 part which I asked them to give along with everything which I was buying, and they asked me to pay ₹80 in cash for that part, while my entire order was around ₹20k+, for which I paid via debit card. I didn't count the product while leaving the store in good faith, and just unboxed the hardware products to do a count upon reaching home. To my surprise that petty ₹80 part is missing, while I was assuming that they charged for it via debit card, or may have placed it alongwith other products as a goodwill gesture, as I literally paid over 10k to the labour due to their delay in keeping their promise of delivering goods in time. I felt slight arrogance among owners, as they won't leave their single rupee, but won't care if a customer loses his/her 10k due to their mistake. There are many large stores in the market, and this cheap act of theirs will cost them a customer, and probably many more as I won't be visiting their store anymore, and advise others to stay away too, as other stores will not be as adamant on their pricing while billing 20-50k worth hardware, neither will be cheap enough to remove something worth 50-80₹ without informing the customer. Moreover, will take accountability for their failure in timely delivery, else be transparent while taking 100% advance from a customer. This is an example of high hopes, and pathetic outcome. Customer service sucks too, as one has to try 20 times before getting a response, that too a dry one. There are other small and big stores where at least one may expect better customer service. Boycott Amrit Traders!!!"
